Lake Pleasant Float Fly
4/6/08 - The March 15th Float Fly was the last scheduled event under the
current Knight Flyers special use permit. Due to the cost of renting Two Cow
Cove and only a few flyers attending each event, the Knight Flyers are not
planning on getting a new permit.
If people are interested in having float fly events at Lake Pleasant (or other locations) I suggest that we establish a Float Fly Club. Club dues would cover the costs associated with having a float fly's, the more people that join the club the more events or even multi-day events that could be sponsored. The Float Flys would be open to anyone to fly at (AMA required) however club members would not pay at ANY event.
EVENTS WOULD BE OPEN TO GAS, GLOW AND ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEMS!
What do we need?
1) People that are interested joining such a float fly club and those that are interested in becoming club officers to help establish the club!
2) A name.
